RAM Cycles and Hollywood Diner, both located in Rockville, Maryland, will hold a Polar Bear Ride for Autism on Sunday, March 1, 2009. Proceeds will be donated to the Autism Society of America (ASA), which serves thousands of families each year and is the leading source of trusted and reliable information about autism. Polar Bear Ride tickets, available for $20 at RAM Cycles, will entitle participants to a full breakfast beginning between 7:30 and 8 a.m. at Hollywood Diner (895 Rockville Pike), a chance to win a Scorpion jacket to be raffled off at Hollywood Diner before the ride, and door prizes to be given away at RAM Cycles after the ride. Riders will hit the road at 9 a.m. sharp for a 70-mile scenic loop around Montgomery County. The ride will end at RAM Cycles (701 East Gude Drive), where participants will be treated to refreshments and a thrilling stunt show. In addition, Scorpion representatives will demonstrate their XDR cold weather gear. Polar Bear Ride tickets will be sold at Hollywood Diner on the day of the ride and at RAM Cycles beforehand. And then there wasn't a ride!!!!!!! Repost for Ram Cycles
Due to the forecasted inclement weather for this Sunday and the next and out of concern for everyone’s safety RAM Cycles will be postponing our Polar Bear Ride for Autism that was scheduled for Sunday, March 1st at 8 a.m. We will now be holding this ride on Sunday March 15th at 8 a.m. Please check out our website for more details. Hope everyone can make it out!

Yeah I went to the rescheduled ride on the 1st. A soggy ride it was but fun none the less. I have a copy of the route that Ram took us on too so ifn's we ever see eachother face to face again we can go ride it! | |
